The Practitioner’s Corner
Mentorship for Functional Health Practitioners
Ongoing clinical and practice mentorship for new functional health practitioners who want to feel more grounded, supported, and confident working with clients.
You’ve completed the training. You’ve studied the labs, frameworks, and protocols.
Yet when it comes time to guide a real client, you may still pause.
Where should I begin?
Am I doing enough?
Am I missing something?
Almost every practitioner I mentor begins here, passionate, well trained, and deeply
committed to helping people, but uncertain about how to translate what they have
learned into clear, thoughtful action.
The Practitioner’s Corner helps bridge that gap, supporting you as you move from
learning a framework to confidently applying it in practice.
You Do Not Have to Make That Transition Alone
The Practitioner’s Corner is a monthly mentorship membership designed especially for functional health practitioners in approximately their first 12–18 months after training.
Whether you are preparing for your first paying client or beginning to manage a growing caseload, you will have an experienced practitioner in your corner as you develop your clinical reasoning, design thoughtful protocols, strengthen your confidence, and create a practice that feels sustainable and true to you.
Together, we learn to see the patterns, hear what the client is really communicating, and remain curious about what their body—and your own practitioner instincts—may be showing you.
Mentorship That Develops Your Thinking — not Dependence
This is not another course or a place to collect more protocols.
We use real client work and real practice questions to strengthen your ability to recognize patterns, choose an appropriate starting point, sequence support, communicate clearly, and adjust when a client does not respond as expected.
We also pay attention to what is happening for you as the practitioner: the uncertainty, urgency, overthinking, or pressure to get everything right.
The goal is not to tell you what to do with every client. It is to help you develop a thoughtful process, trust your clinical reasoning, and grow into your own way of practicing.
Welcome to the Wellness Partnership
This Membership May Be Right for You If…
You have recently completed FDN or another functional health training and are preparing to work with clients or developing an early caseload.
You understand the frameworks you were taught, but applying them to a complex, real- life client does not always feel straightforward.
You want to become better at recognizing meaningful patterns without chasing every abnormal marker or creating an overwhelming protocol.
You sometimes second-guess your decisions and would value an experienced practitioner who can help you think through a case rather than simply hand you an answer.
You want support with the practical side of practice—including sessions, packages, client communication, boundaries, follow up, and creating a steadier flow of clients.
You care deeply about doing good work, but you do not want the pressure to get everything right to take the curiosity and enjoyment out of being a practitioner.
Most of all, you want to know that someone knowledgeable, experienced, and approachable is in your corner as you grow.

Both membership levels provide consistent individual mentorship, monthly connection

Working with Dr. Jill as my mentor has been an invaluable part of my growth as a practitioner. Her depth of knowledge around lab interpretation is exceptional, and she has a remarkable ability to connect lab findings with real-life symptoms in a clear, thoughtful, and practical way. Through our work together, I’ve gained greater confidence in reviewing labs, identifying healing opportunities, and building effective, individualized protocols for my clients. Dr. Jill is always generous with her time and guidance—answering questions, offering insight, and helping me navigate complex cases with clarity and intention. Beyond labs and client work, her mentorship has supported my growth as a practitioner as a whole. I’ve strengthened my clinical reasoning, deepened my confidence, and continued to grow my practice with greater clarity and purpose. Dr. Jill’s mentorship emphasizes thoughtful, client-centered care—treating the client, not just the lab findings—while supporting meaningful growth as a practitioner. I’m deeply grateful for her support, wisdom, and encouragement, and I highly recommend Dr. Jill to any practitioner looking to elevate their skills, confidence, and impact.
Meet Jill
After more than 25 years in practice, and many years helping to develop, teach, and support FDN practitioners, I understand the gap between completing a training and feeling confident with a real client.
Working with new practitioners through this transition has become one of the most meaningful parts of my work.
I know how easy it is to believe that confidence will arrive after one more course, one more certification, or one more set of protocols.
But practitioner confidence develops through experience: working with real people, asking thoughtful questions, reviewing what happened, and having someone experienced beside you while you learn.
My role is not to turn you into a version of me.
It is to help you see more clearly, listen more deeply, remain curious, and develop a way of practicing that feels grounded and authentically yours.
Confidence Is Built Through Supported Experience
Confidence comes from doing—not from endlessly preparing to begin.
You do not need to know everything before you work with clients.
You need a thoughtful process, a willingness to remain curious, and the right support around you while your experience develops.
The Practitioner’s Corner gives you a place to ask honest questions, work through real challenges, and continue becoming the grounded, capable practitioner you want to be.
You are allowed to be learning…and you do not have to do it alone.o
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be FDN certified?
No. The Practitioner’s Corner is open to graduates of FDN and other established functional health practitioner training programs. On signing up there is a short application form that helps me understand your educational background and determine whether the membership is the right fit for you.
Do I need to have active clients?
No. You may apply if you are preparing for your first clients, beginning to build a caseload, or already working with several clients.
What can I bring to my individual mentorship session?
You may bring client cases, lab findings, protocol questions, client communication challenges, package and session questions, practice-building decisions, or anything that is affecting your confidence and progress as a practitioner. We’ll also work through case reviews to help you gain confidence while building your client base.
What happens during the monthly group call?
The group call provides an opportunity to discuss practitioner questions, explore cases and patterns, strengthen clinical reasoning, and learn from the experiences of other members.
What is included in between-session support?
Between-session support is intended for brief, focused questions that do not require a full case review. More complex cases and detailed protocol development should be brought to your individual mentorship session.
How quickly will Jill respond?
I generally respond to email within 2 business days and direct messages within one business day. Support is provided during regular weekday working hours and is not intended for urgent or emergency questions.
Do unused individual sessions roll over?
Sessions should be used within the membership month and do not accumulate unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed in advance.
Can I change membership levels?
Yes, subject to availability. You can discuss your changing support needs with Jill and move between Practitioner Support and Practitioner Partnership when appropriate.
Can I pause or cancel?
Membership is month to month. Members may pause or cancel with 30 days’ notice.
Is this formal clinical supervision?
No. The Practitioner’s Corner provides practitioner mentorship, education, and consultation. It is not formal clinical supervision, medical oversight, or a substitute for any supervision required by a professional licensing body.
How is client confidentiality protected?
Members must remove identifying client information from cases, documents, and group discussions unless they have a signed ROI (Release of Information) on file from the client. Further confidentiality guidance will be provided when you join.
